As a rule, malformations or deformities of the jaw and cranial bones are congenital and exist since birth (such as the fairly common lip-jaw-palate cleft) or develop as a result of incorrectly grown together cranial sutures. In the latter case, regular medical examinations should ensue unless surgery has been performed after the discovery of the malformation. The required interventions vary from case to case, depending on the type of malformation. If you or your child show symptoms of a malformation (or a malformation has already been diagnosed), we will gladly help you along.
