Implant technology has made it possible to firmly anchor dental prostheses into the jaw bone without needing to grind the adjacent teeth. Grinding the carrier teeth often leads to nerve damage and - unnecessarily - the loss of much healthy tooth material. An implant, which is anchored into the jaw bone and eventually grows together with it, leaves the adjacent teeth intact. The implant, which is a type of artificial dental root made from titanium or ceramic, is capable of supporting exchangeable dental prostheses as stably as a natural dental root due to its mounting thread. Of course, the material used by us is demonstrably bio-compatible, also in the long term. If you are interested in having an implant to support your dental prosthesis, we will gladly offer you advice on the available options.
